About me

My name is Timi, I am a qualified and experienced Cosmetic Chemist and Teacher.

I have seen many students in the past who did exceptionally well and some who gave up on their dreams for all sorts of reasons; money, motivation, lack of direction or support.
I want to change that.
Online learning is fun; it is more flexible but can be less disciplined, often leading students to give up.
It is vital to me that you are not reading course materials full of fluff or giant fonts just to make the course look longer. I like to make sure you understand all that you read and that you can follow formulations.
All this will enable you to create your own designs without copying others. I want to bring you a more personalised approach. You will be in control of your time and investment in the course. Remember: a good formulator isn't born by reading a course but by practising, analysing and trying repeatedly.

Frequently Asked Questions

The difference is the level of support you are getting.
In the Standard course, you can ask your questions in the course under each Lesson. The questions are to be related to said Lesson.
The VIP members, however, can talk directly to me in the Discord app within my office hours. The VIP support is not restricted to course materials; they can ask me about any formulations-related issues.

The course access is 12 months. You can complete the course anytime within these 12 months. The Modules, however, will open weekly, not in one go.

The course is self-paced but I do recommend creating some sort of study schedule for yourself. The Modules open weekly, on Mondays. This means that if you do finish a Module before that, you will have some time to practise or source materials. 

You certainly can, you will need to pay £25 a month until you wish to have access. Please email [email protected] to arrange this.

Ideally, you would need to have some formulating knowledge such as how to formulate facial oils, butters perhaps. The course does not include these types of formulations. Everything else, such as preservation or how to search for ingredients will be included in the course.

There is a closed Community area where you can chat with other students. This Community section is within this platform, not on Facebook. 

As this is a Digital course, once you access the course, there will be no opportunity for a refund. If you are unsure if the course is right for you, please email me at [email protected] before purchasing the course. I will be happy to set up a 10 mins chat to help you decide. 

There are some quick quizzes after Modules and a Final Assignment at the end of the course. You will need to pass these (75% is required) to move on. The quizzes are short, perhaps five questions long to assess that you understood the Module.

You will be able to formulate:
- Toners, micellar waters
- Gels for face and body
- Cleansers - gel, foaming and cream cleansers for both face and body
- Emulsions - lotions, creams and butters for face and body
- Exfoliating products - physical and chemical exfoliants
- Solid products - moisturising bars, cleansing bars and and for face and body
- Deodorants - roll-on, balm and stick deodorants

You will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course after completing it and passing all assignments. Unfortunately, there aren't many independent providers who can issue industry-recognised Diplomas. You can use the terms Qualified Formulator or Cosmetic Formulator, and you can enrich your CV by adding this course. The title will be helpful when establishing your brand since you will be a very knowledgable owner. 

I am a qualified Cosmetic Chemist and also a Teacher with nearly 20 years experience. I specialise in natural cosmetics, but I formulate all kinds of cosmetics from haircare, through make-up, oral and nail care. Your work will be assessed by me only and I will provide all course support.
