HI, I’M TIMEA RACZ.
I live in the UK with my partner and adorable cat. I am a qualified Teacher and a Cosmetic Chemist.
It all started with teaching organic skincare enthusiasts by infusing the world-famous Formula Botanica courses with hands-on, face to face tuition. I've been running formulation classes, doing one to one tutoring and I was the Education Manager at Formula Botanica for many years which was followed by being the Head of Formulation and Research.
I am currently the Head of R&D at a small luxury brand. In my spare time I formulate (are you surprised?) and now that I no longer have to actively study, I spend most of my time with my loved ones and creating new courses for formulators.

- Diploma in Organic Haircare Formulation
- Certificate in Advanced Colour Cosmetic Formulation
- Certificates in Natural Cosmetic Preservation, in Organic Anti-ageing Skincare, in Cosmetic Stability Testing, in Facial Mask Formulation
- Level 5 qualification in teaching
- Internal GMP auditor
THE APPROACH
I am here to help you succeed.
You may want to be a DIY or an advanced formulator; you may wish to have your brand, consultancy or even your own manufacturing facility.
I have seen many students in the past who did exceptionally well and some who gave up on their dreams for all sorts of reasons; money, motivation, lack of direction or support. I want to change that.
Online learning is fun; it is more flexible but can be less disciplined, often leading students to give up.
It is vital to me that you are not reading course materials full of fluff or giant fonts just to make the course look longer. I like to make sure you understand all that you read and that you can follow formulations.
All this will enable you to create your own designs without copying others. I want to bring you a more personalised approach. You will be in control of your time and investment in the course.
Remember: a good formulator isn't born by reading a course but by practising, analysing and trying repeatedly.
