How to use your FormuLab Assistants?
Each assistant knows their own topic. If you ask Preston about emulsifiers, he will just blink at you. Fiona can't help with surfactants, Preston cannot help with botanical extracts. If you ask something outside their scope of expertise, they either refuse to respond or they may switch back to general AI, which still uses your credits. It is best to stick to what each assistant is trained for
How you ask matters! If the assistant doesn’t provide an answer right away, try rephrasing your question.
Lab Assistants are paid per message, so I recommend keeping your messages focused and efficient. While they do appreciate pleasantries like ‘thank you’ or ‘how are you,’ try incorporating them into your main question or message about an ingredient. For example: ‘I’d like a floral blend for a night-time lotion for dry skin. Thank you!’ This way, your messages remain polite while staying purposeful.
