This course is ideal for anyone interested in gaining knowledge and skills in creating high-quality cleansing bars from scratch. It is recommended that participants have prior experience in formulating, such as following set formulas or creating their own. Although sample formulas will be provided, the ultimate goal of the course is for students to develop their own unique formulations.
This course is not a do-it-yourself (DIY) tutorial; instead, it emphasizes the importance of practice and research to enhance learning

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Standard course and the Standard Plus course?
The difference is the support you are getting.
In the Standard course, you get all the course guides, videos, etc but you won't be able to ask questions, or get feedback. This is suited for you if you have a good understanding of ingredients, formulating in general and you are confident you can troubleshoot formulation issues.
The Standard Plus members, however, can ask me questions under each Lesson. The questions must be related to the relevant Lessons as I cannot help with general formulation issues, I'm afraid. (For example: I cannot help with issues with a lotion if it is solid bar course).
Both packages will have access to the Community section so you can chat with other students.
What is the duration of the course, and how long will I have access to the course materials?
The course access is 90 days. You can complete the course anytime within this time period. The Modules, however, will open daily, not in one go.
Is the course self-paced, or does it follow a specific schedule?
The course is self-paced but I do recommend creating some sort of study schedule for yourself. The Modules open daily, not at once to keep the information easily digestable. This approach allows you to focus on one module at a time and fully grasp the content before moving on to the next one.
Can I access the course materials and resources even after the 90-day period has ended?
You certainly can, you will need to pay £10 a month until you wish to have access. Please email [email protected] to arrange this.
Are there any specific prerequisites or prior knowledge required to enroll in this course?
Ideally, you would need to have some formulating knowledge such as how to formulate facial oils, butters perhaps but it is not an acceptance criteria.
Will I receive any support or guidance during the formulation process?
If you purchase the Standard package, you won't be subscribing to Tutor support within the relevant Lesson in the course. You can chat with others in the Community section.

Is there a community or platform to interact with other students ?
Yes!
You will have access to the Community area where you can chat with other students. This Community section is within this platform, not on Facebook.
Is there a refund policy if I'm not satisfied with the course?
As this is a Digital course, once you access the course, there will be no opportunity for a refund. If you are unsure if the course is right for you, please email me at [email protected] before purchasing the course. I will be happy to set up a 10 mins chat to help you decide.
How will I be assessed during the course, and are there any assignments or quizzes?
There is a quick quiz at the end of some of the Modules. You will need to pass these (75% is required) to move on. The quizzes are short, perhaps five questions long to assess that you understood the Module.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
At this point, no certificates are awarded for short courses.
What kind of experience and credentials does the instructor have in the field of cosmetic chemistry?
I am a qualified Cosmetic Chemist and also a Teacher with nearly 20 years experience. I specialise in natural cosmetics, but I formulate all kinds of cosmetics from haircare, through make-up, oral and nail care. Your work will be assessed by me only and I will provide all course support.
